Description

I found this beautiful silk teal material disguised as a dress at Goodwill a few months ago. I removed the shoulder pads first and then took it a part. I decided to take off the pockets and the sleeves and played with it from there. Not many major changes – removed some of the pleats and raised the waist line. This was my first experience with arm hole facings and my favorite teacher (my mom!) helped me when I went to see her for Mother’s Day. I’m not a huge fan of the “after” pictures, they are neither flattering to me or the dress, but my sister is not a patient photographer :) Hopefully I can get some better pics soon!

“After” pics have me in them, “before” pics are on the dress form :)

It’s a cute refashion! It’s definitely more wearable in the after pics. I have a similar before dress that I will need to do something similar with haha
