I made this from Colette’s “Cinnamon” pattern (I love it – I’ve already made two garments from it and I’m working on a third in powder blue charmeuse). It’s modeled by my friend Polly.
The Cinnamon pattern is fab – but if you have a small chest make sure you do ample SBA’s to make it fit right! Additionally, I used crepe-backed satin on this slip dress which is nice but it didn’t gather as well as I’d hoped for at the shoulder straps. I’m hoping the charmuese one gathers better. Other than that I’m quite happy with this slip!
