A beautiful simple easy basic 50s pattern and making it modern.
I followed the pattern until it came to the sleeves and collar. The collar has pellum 808 (craft stiffness) to make it really really stiff and stand up.
The arms were easy really. When cutting the pattern just cut your 2 different materials and sew them together.
This is silk brocade. You can buy poly brocade from any fabric store. The sheer in the sleeves is organza
