This is my super coat! I found this gold fabric earlier this year and then had to find a pattern that would work with it. This is what came out!
I modified the Butterick 5145 Coat pattern. I broadened the collar, shortened the skirt, changed the arm hole (which kind of didn’t really work because now the fit is no fit at all), added pockets in the side seam (accidentially the pockets are to slow, hehe), modified the pleat at the back and totally changed the front. I’ll add a technical drawing of this later so you can see the details properly.
I wore it to the Rocky Horror Show in March which totally rocked (both the musical and the coat :)
