I’m trying to teach myself how to sew clothing! This is my very first project.
To get started, I used measurements for the top panel from Mirela’s A Plus A Line pattern, but I totally improvised the rest. This is what I came up with!
Some fabric I bought for two dollars from a girl sitting on the side walk. Don’t know what the material is. Put in a zipper and a tie.

Really good job! I love the material. I also used it in one of the first dresses I made.

What a good idea? I think you did fantastically well for a first garment. Love the material, it doesn’t look the easiest to use either. ! Improvise away girl, -- there’s a dressmaker in you, go find it.
