Going for gold with this jumpsuit (Burda Easy spring/summer ...

Today I present you my latest sewing project: a jumpsuit based on a pattern of the Burda Easy magazine for spring/summer 2014.
I was waiting for such a pattern so long. Such an uncomplicated cut in combination with a special fabric, that’s my thing! I got this stretchy micro satin with golden print at Ebay, it was a designer sample. Sewing the jumpsuit was quite easy, the pattern is recommendable to beginners, but I modified it a lot (e. g. I made the zipper on the back side instead of front side, made turn-ups at legs and sleeves, made legs longer, left off the collar).

If you are interested in knowing more about this sewing project and what I’m doing, I invite you to my new sewing, fashion and lifestyle 50+ blog

    Love this!

The leather shoulder detail and styling are perfect. No doubt you’ll get tons of use out of this over the summer. I wish I had the confidence to pull off a jumpsuit! So chic.

Dana,I am 5″6 tall, busty and between size 12 and 14. I think you can. From my opinion are just heels important for this outfit, to avoid that your legs look short. Dare yourself! You won’t regret. Many people made comments on my jumpsuit because it is unusual and rarely to buy. Yours, Philo
