A summer design for ball jointed dolls from the Iplehouse family. (Note: these dolls are 1/3 human scale, so they are definitely not a Barbie…..LOL!) Sewing in miniature presents unique challenges, which is one of the reasons I am drawn to sewing in this scale. This particular dress is made of 8 pattern pieces with twin needle top-stitched princess seams.
Made of nylon lycra with a silk chiffon ruffle on the bottom.
Learn why every seamstress can benefit from flat patternmaking from instructor Deborah Moebes.
