Description

For my first proper garment I chose to make a full skirt using this tutorial. It was fairly easy, even for a beginner. I used box pleats to avoid too much bulk in the waistband and they turned out really well. I used polka dotted cotton to make sure that the skirt would give the desired fullness. The tutorial was for a tea length skirt but I shortened mine so it was above the knee.

Blogged about here :)
