So, I decided to Sew With A Plan for the first time ever in my life, and this skirt was part of the plan! It fit perfectly onto the remainder of wool that I had earmarked for trousers, and I thought, “Why not a skirt, too?” It’s a perfectly weird shade of green – one of my favourites!
I underlined and lined the skirt – a little bit more than was suggested by the instructions – and I added a 4cm deep waistband.
Please see my blog for more details.
wool crepe, silk organza (underlining), rayon lining, lace edging, invisible zip, hook & eye, thread

This is a lovely skirt. You’ve coordinated the colors well. Thank you for showing the inner construction …very neat and well done.
