These two were commissioned to evoke a feeling of 2 halves make a whole. The female is airy and elegant and the man is earth bound. His pants are basic harem pants that I reworked to drape and move for the dancer in a specific way. He has a small shrug and she is wearing a basic leotard under her wrap top which I found here on Burda and altered just a smidge for added drama. I added extra fabric to gather across the front.
SPANDEX !! yay for the pant, leotard, the shirt was a two way stretch iridescent mesh
his pants were a 1 1/2 yd
she was what the pattern asked for plus a bit when I altered it
elastic for the leotard
hooks for the pants
