The trousers were simple to make, but time consuming, just as the magazine rates them. Nice finish on the inside. I shortened the trousers for the warmer weather. I put a dart in the front rather than the pleat. I also added belt loops and a short leg slit. The top is Simplicity 1808, also simple to make, but time consuming. I left the sleeves loose rather than put elastic in the sleeve hem. The outfit is very comfortable to wear !!! However, my daughter has claimed it for her closet!!! (that is why the big grins on her face)
Cotton with spandex for the trousers. Lycra 4-way stretch knit for the top.
Go far afield in wrap dresses, detailed jackets, and comfy separates for fall.
