I always wanted to sew a high-waisted velvet shorts, but never found a pattern! Then I looked through some older BurdaStyle magazines and found a high-waisted tweed trousers pattern in last year´s August edition. I used that one and simply shortened it! I am so pleased with the result as it turned out just as I had imagined. To add a little eye-catcher, I used 3 different golden vintage buttons.
P.S.: I have to admit that I had a lot of help with the zipper, as this was my first one! :)
