I made this variation of the Charlie bag to list, along with some other variations, on my Etsy store. www.LimeTea.etsy.com
The bag itself is made from a lightweight nylon or poly in nearly a cyan color, toned down and a bit more yellow than straight cyan. Very pretty and spring like. The spring theme is carried out in the cotton lining, a butterfly and flower print that picks up all the colors of the bag. On the outside front of the bag is a large pocket, measuring 10 3/4” by 8 1/4”. The pocket has a geranium pink flower, flower power style, with the words “go green” in a light green embroidered on it. There is a matching decorative patch on the back of the bag.
I made the pouch a couple of inches bigger than the pattern, and accidently cut it somewhat bias. That works really well to fold the bag into it more easily!
