This pattern from pattern company_:http://www.patterncompany.eu/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=152&category_id=5&option=comvirtuemart&Itemid=3 just needed the right fabric, not too dark in coloure to show this nice smokwork. Incidentally I found a fabric remnant in This lemmon walk.
Without an overlook I sewed only the seamlines, no lining but the smocking I did by hand.
