Description

I made this dress for a themed birthday party. Glomesh/Bond 007

For all o/s members, Glomesh was a company that created beautiful sparkly purses/bags in the late 50’s. Very collectible, I am a very proud owner of a few wallets and bags, carrying one in these pics. http://www.glomesh.com/story.html

I wore this dress last night and found that I need to take some of the sequence beads out around the arms, woke up with a few nasty scratches. Ouch!
I was a little bit hesitant as to how this fabric would sew, I was anticipating lots of broken needles but alas, wasn’t to be.

i used vogue pattern Calvin Klein 1707

Material Notes

1mtr sequence fabric
1 mtr jersey for lining

This is gorgeous Ronnielee. Why don’t you hand sew a fine black bias strip over the part of the armhole where the sequins are rubbing your underarm. I have done this before and it works well.
