I had these old shoes from my mom, I didn’t like the colour and the leather wasn’s nice anymore, but they were so comfortable. So what to do? I decided to pimp them up and give them a chance to glitter. I used the tutorial of themisslinds which you can find here on burdastyle (http://www.burdastyle.com/blog/diy-to-try-glitter-shoes). You can also find several tutorials everywhere in the internet. I had to change the rubberband, too, of course, but hopefully I found a perfect nice velvety rubberband at a flea market lately.
When taking the pictures I realized that the paste starts to break at one or two places. I’m afraid it will break up completely sooner or later. Well, I will see. That’s probably because I made about 4 layers of paste and now the surface is rather hard.
