As you might know allready, i love classic outfits. it was time to do another one, when i found this lovely wool – cashmere blend glencheck i felt in love with and knew, what i wanted to do with it:
meet my new trousers pattern: selfdrafted and with a higher waistline again (i am a little over it with those love hanging trousers :-) – at least for meself.
the waistcoat has a different colar solution this time, but is aside of this the same pattern i allways used.
the lining material is a superfin cotton in a Liberty-kind-of print. i still have enough left so i will do a classic men’s shirt as well with it!
hope you like the outfit!

You write " I hope you like it"—— of course we do!!! There is nothing better than seeing beautiful workmanship on this web site and your trousers and waistcoat are perfect. The fit is perfect for you and you look great in them. The wonderful thing about your photos Ralf, is that you have lifted the standard of of what we should see on this site and it will inspire us all to try harder at achieving a better finish on our garments. I love the fabric by the way and I hope it is keeping you warm in the harsh winter that is hitting Europe at the moment. Just stay inside and keep warm and keep sewing and taking more photos!!!

there is one thing about this outfit, i have been proud of: that the plaids are maching most of the time, and that was much more difficulte, than i ever expected it to be. thank you very much for your kind comment dear martin!
