Description

Plain white bra encrusted with crystals, good for sexy underwear in the bedroom or clubbing as all the lights reflect off the bra!! =)

Material Notes

plain bra, cheap crystals/gems, good adhesive (silicon of fabric glue), tooth pick (yes…a toothpick).

    So, you just glued these beads on? Do they actually stay on? Which type of bra did you use as a base? I guess it has a stable foam cup, from the shape it’s holding… Looks really beautiful!

      aww..thank you! and I just used a cheap underwire padded bra from primark as the base. I used an all purpose silicon glue and they stay on just fine. If your worried about whether the adhesive you use isnt durable or right for the materials then you can always do a test swatch of the glue and crystals on a piece of fabric and wash and tubmle dry.. see how it reacts with the washing befor attempting it. Although I would recomend hand ashing with this type of garment as a washing machine might be too vigorous…. =D

    Hi Kat, My DIL is quite tall and wears a FF or J bra. She also takes dance classes. Would this project be OK for her size bra? Cordially, Nehmah (I’d bet your stash has some great notions, etc!)

      hey, you can crystalise almost anything aslong as you make sure the adhesive you use is appropriate for the material it goes on. FF is a rather large cup which may take an awful lot longer than mine (B), however if you have the patience to do it then theres no problem =D! just also remember that having lots of crystals and adhesive can make the bra heavy….mine weighed about 2/3’s more its origional weight and with having such a large cup it may be quite weighted, but still you should give it ago, its a really fun project!
