Little Rock, Ark...
This dress is made for twirling, eating snow cones, and sitting on porches at sunset. Its just so summer-y and happy. My mom made a dress with this same pattern when she was in college, so it was fun reading her notes and thinking about what she was like then. I really struggled with the automatic button hole setting on my machine and also getting the fusible interfacing on the right side haha (you can’t rip that stuff off). Even though this dress took a lot longer then I originally thought, I’m glad I actually followed the directions this time and I really like the way it turned out!
checked cotton, white chino, mint green buttons, old butterick pattern from my mom
