My digital camera died in the hands of my 3 year old boy, and my hubby bought a new one that did not come with a case, so I told him I would make one for him. Once I had finished it hubby went “that’s too girly”, so I gave him my defunct camera’s case and I got left with the new one, which I find very pretty, even though it has many mistakes, it served me as practice on how to apply binding, and sew square corners.
I copied the old camera case design, but forgot to add a tiny pocket for the memory card.
Just so I know, is the case girly or not? I think not.
Leftover denim from several other projects, plus leftover patchwork fabric from a boy’s shirt for sides and binding, plus a bit of velcro for a closure.
What do you think of these summery styles?
