Description

Made these shrugs to take to a wedding in case the air is too cold for their sleeveless gowns. The first one came out too small in the arms so I added some gathering around the neck and gave it to my four year old. The next one I added 3 sizes to the arms. Both I had to use princess seams and a little zigzaging as the fabric frays terribly.

Material Notes

left over material. I think it is rayon but not for sure

How cute! It looks like you didn’t use a knit/jersey material, that would explain the sleeve-issue, since the pattern is designed for knits only, and the material needs to be quite stretchy. Looks like you solved it perfectly though, I hope they kept the girls warm during the wedding!

nope I didn’t use stretchy and figured that was the cause! They did work quite well and cute with their gowns. I will post pics when i get them :) thanks for the pattern!
