i used burdastyle 10/2010 #148 to make my daughter a dress shirt for a choir concert. i used a white cotton shirting with a subtle satin stripe. the only pattern changes i made were to lengthen the blouse by 1 1/2" and make an angled cuff. i love this pattern since it has all the details of a proper button up—yoke, collar, cuff, etc. the fit is great, and i’m sure i’ll come back to this pattern many times over the years!
