I based my dress on one i saw in ‘look’ magazine from a company called ‘madeline’. It was just pure lust at first sight when i saw this dress. Then i saw it in one of the ads on here as well so i thought i would make my own. The origonal is £149.95 and is’nt even lined. I was going for a works night out to cosmos in belfast as one of the girls was going on maternity leave. I lined it in a skin colour for the bodice and black jersey for the rest. This was my second attempt. The first one was ok but i thought the stripes where to small so i cut it up into a top and made another. I lowered where the stripes sat as i thought it was more flattering on me. I love it and felt really nice wearing it. Another one is in the pipeline in different colours and maybe different stripe placement x
