Description

This project follows pattern 141 in Burda 07/2011.

It is my first attempt at making children’s clothes, I hope the girl I made it for will like it!

You will see a lot of gingham and white linen lately, I am making a couple of outfits for Queen’s Jubilee celebrations in my local town.

I have complimented the top with a full circle skirt (the adult and girls’ full circle skirts have been posted separately).

Material Notes

Gingham (polycotton, £3.20/m), cotton lace and glittery flower buttons (7)

Thank you, everyone. I haven’t made anything for myself yet. I wanted a dress, but a gingham dress is a bit toooo much! I might go for red or white linen with gingham rose? I don’t know!

Irina, you have been so busy and these clothes you have made for the Jubilee are lovely. I really like both tops and I am sure you will look great on the day. What kind of events are happening in your town for the Jubilee?? I was in England for the 25th Jubilee and it was wonderful, so I hope you have a great time for the 60th Jubilee.
