Girlie Dress

Portsmouth, Unit...

Hello again, I made this dress last summer and I love it. Its girlie without being too over the top. Its from a Betsy Ross pattern, which i think is American and it was so simple to make. Three simple pleats at the front and a covered zip at the back.

Material Notes

I used Amy Butler, 100% cotton. I’m obsessed with Amy Butler fabrics by the way!!

Thanks to hubbie for the photos

Cheers for all your comments, I think Betsy Ross patterns are great for beginners. The pattern is printed on really thick paper, so very easy to use ( tissue paper drives me nuts!) and its a very simple shape. I’m going to wear this for a wedding in 2 weeks with a little 1950’s jacket!

I love this one! I’m going to have to find that pattern. I’ve heard and I think briefly looked through Betsy Ross patterns, I’m going to look again :). Great job! I love Amy Butler as well!
