Description

This fabric was on sale at £1/m. Not only is it pretty but it’s tough, almost like denim. I used these trousers to practice matching stripes. I’m pretty pleased with the result.

I don’t like the girls to be too pink so I made a coordinating cardigan in green picking up from the narrow green stripe in the trouser fabric. The yarn is a bamboo wool mix and is lovely and soft.

I have plenty of fabric left to make another bigger outfit later on.

Material Notes

Trousers – Cotton
Cardigan – Sirdar Baby Bamboo

I love the trousers but I love the cardigan even more. What pattern did you use? I’d love to make it for my granddaughter.
