Description

Heidi dress pattern with the pleats switched for darts as i prefer the look. I also raised the neckline slightly and if I was to makes it again I’d raise the armholes a bit too. The great ginkgo fabric is from Sewbox (http://www.sewbox.co.uk/) .

    gorgeous dress. i love that it’s an all seasons type dress. i’m making a similar McCalls pattern at the moment, but I really love the shape of the little capped sleeves on yours. i think it looks great with the darts instead of pleats.

    Great dress and a great fabric! I think it would look better without the shirt underneath – but that’s just my opinion ! Great work!
