Gingham version of Port Elizabeth top. I lengthened the pattern a lot, and cut out the size 12, although next time I think I’d better do a 14. I sort of forgot about the whole concept of ease….
This is a great pattern and very customisable! Sorry about the dodgy photo, it’s the only one I have of me wearing it, after 4 nights camping at Latitude, so not exactly looking my radiant best.
Cheap 2.50 a metre fabric from the local haberdashery.

This is a great pattern. I love these style of shirts. It was very easy to make and it is cheaper to make than to buy at the store. I will add a picture soon so you can what I have created. Thanks.

i really love this. am going to try it this weekend. gingham is always a hit in my opinion … who cares if it doesn’t match perfectly. i think matching patterns is overrated! maybe that’s coz i’m too lazy to bother tyring ;-)

Thanks! I really like this top and it doesn’t look too tricky to make (I’m a beginner). It looks great on you!

Thank you! It’s very easy to make, the trickiest thing was probably matching up the gingham on the front, which I didn’t do super accurately, but I still like it.
