I needed a simple and light dress for somer, but with cardigan and tights also in cooler seasons. I decided to use this pattern, that looks like italien summer for me. I altered the front and worked it with buttons instead of a zipper in the back. The fit isn’t the best – it’s a bit to wide and need a belt for a good waistline. This dress is a first try of the pattern – I plan to do one more that looks more classic. Than I will make some alterations for a better fit.

This is such a sweet dress. Nice work. The colour of the buttons and the gingham works well.

Love what you’ve done with this dress – the buttons and the detail on the sleeve really make the dress. Gingham was the perfect choice of fabric.

Very cute. The gingham fabric was a great choice & the bow-button detail on the sleeve is really nice!
