A cute little lavender gingham sundress for my friend Jess who is spending 2 months in Texas. I made this dress for her birthday gift. The brief was for it to be cool, to show a little bit of cleavage and for it to be safe enough to not wear a bra. I also wanted to have a slight 50s spin on it.
I did use a Vogue pattern as the base of this dress, the wearer has a small waist a larger bust so there was quite a bit of redrafting of the top. I was also on a mega deadline as she was leaving very soon to catch a plane!
I would probably make some changes if I did it again but for a quick first attempt I think it turned out cute!
