I made this Victorian Gibson Girl day blouse for an heirloom sewing challenge and thought I’d share it here. The blouse was a bit too big for my model (my oldest daughter), so the 3/4 length sleeve bands didn’t sit right on her (they should’ve been snug). The pintucking was (according to the pattern) only to be on the front, but I thought that looked cheap, so I continued the design to the back shoulders as well. It was a fun project and I think it looks splendid with jeans. I am planning to make a skirt to match soon.
Made of batiste and lace insertion.
