I loved this dress when saw it in the Burda mag and made it almost immediately so I’ve had it for quite a while now.
As it looked just about perfect to me in the magazine I did more or less a straight copy of it but just used stretch fabrics so I didn’t need to bother with a zip and put lace for the lining. It’s silk jersey for the dress.
It’s just unfortunate that it rarely feels warm enough to wear it in England.
There is a hell of a lot of ease to the pattern like a lot (but, frustratingly, not all) Burda patterns so I really should have measured the pattern pieces to my body and made it smaller – it’s a lesson I keep telling myself I need to learn – but rarely do, though I am getting better recently.
I think it’d work really well for wearing to a wedding.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
