Description

My first attempt at incorporating a collar. I kind of winged it with the pleating, but i think overall its ok…
It ended up a little bit short though so it has to be paired with tights to be decent!

    I love this collar thing going on! Do you have any pictures of the shape of the collar before being sewn on? Or a sketch of the shape of it?

      I’ve uploaded a picture of the crude pattern I used… What I did was trace out the shape of the neckline and then used the proportions of the bodice as a guide to the length of the pointy bits (first picture). Then I tacked on extra newspaper, folded it into a shape i liked and cut off the excess (second picture). Hope that made sense :)
