Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This full skirt is based on Gertie’s tutorial, found in her inspiring blog (http://www.blogforbettersewing.com/2009/08/full-gathered-skirt.html).
It’s a very versatile model, lovely high waist (excellent for short girls like me!). It is basically made of two big rectangles, attached to a belt. Not difficult at all, it only needs a little bit of patience and practice when gathering the fabric on the waist. Try it!

I chose to make it in a very unusual shade of pink, using a medium wight wool fabric
