I have made three versions of the Simplicity 1873 dress, however none with the original skirt pattern. I really liked this pattern it had the cutest sleeves and pretty fitted top. The two really vibrant dresses are made with Cotton Sateen and the black and pink dress is made from a polyester material. I think the original full skirt would have looked good with the lighter polyester material.
