This is a twirl circle skirt i made with contrasting panels and a little shirt for my daughter. The neckline of the top is cut from the top of the dress. The pattern is just two rectangles with quarter moons cut out and sewn to the neckline. Then i added a strip on contrast fabric on the front with a pleat in it. I cut a circle skirt pattern into peices and just added seam allowances to get the right sizes. I added some rick rack loops to the back and tied through some ribbon just for something different cause i’m sick of always using zippers. I absolutley love how this dress has turned out it’s so geometric with all the shapes of circles squares and triangles and i love the fabrics together. i was quite proud of myself by the end of it! I was going to put cookie monster on the front but i decided i liked it too much without it.
blue polka dotted sheeting material and black cotton. also some lace and rick rack and ribbon.
