At first I was unsure as to whether i could be bothered to make this dress. After gazing at the gathers of the diamond, and the bias cut skirt, i was a bit apprehensive. But my fabric really was calling out for a pattern like this- I followed burdastyle’s recommendation of using check/plaid fabric to bring out the bias cut skirt. And i think it worked.
