Description

This dress was made using Burda Style’s Cowl Neck Dress #102 (from 07/2012) and a silver-sheen, light pink satin. I love the way the bias makes the dress lightly float around me with no closures (zippers, buttons) needed! It was quick to sew together and is interesting in design. To achieve the right drape and keep the dress in place on my shoulders, I added small weights of money pockets to the inside center of the front cowl neck as well as the inner center back of the facing. Thank you for your kind words. Those small weights do a large amount of good…it is funny though because I am literally putting some extra money into my dress! Whatever works…

Oh, do try this dress – it is easy just a bit tricky especially the shoulder/neckline facing but the instructions are good. It is so fun to wear…it’s as comfy as a nightgown! I did run just a tad generous, though. Thank you for your compliments, too.
