I used Butterick 5569. I liked the retro look and wide collar of this jacket. I added a full lining and bound buttonholes. I also found some great buttons that are shaped like a giraffes markings. I know it looks just like the pic on the pattern, I have no imagination, but when I saw it I knew I had to make one just like it.
Jacket fabric is a giraffe print velboa, (a very short pile faux fur) I have had in my stash forever. For the bound buttonholes, I used a poly faux suede popular in Halloween costumes.

This jacket is great, I want to make one! I love the bold fabric choice too!
OOOOHHHHHH I just noticed the buttons how perfect?
