I made this one night when I was invited to a gypsy-themed party and realized I had nothing remotely qualifying as gypsy-like in my wardrobe.
What I did have was a few scraps, really bits and pieces (as evidenced by the weird asymmetrical seam lines) of French linen knit.
A few hours is all I had, which means no patterns, no draping, just free-style cutting.
The only caveat? This linen snags like crazy!! Although one could argue that the spider-web like holes just add to the gypsy-like allure…

I really like this. A great way to use up scraps I suppose! I might try this with some exposed seams.
