A friend was going to a 1920s dance and asked me to make a dress and head band for her. I went for a flapper dress in a white lace. The under layer is finished with a fringed and the top lace is fished with a lace edging . The lace and edging has a Art Deco fan pattern to them. The Under layer has the fringe attached to give it weight and to stop it rising. The dress has a side zip .
2m firm lace fabric, 2meters of underlay, 1.5 5inch fringe 1.5 of 2inch lace edging, 1 zip
