Now I know there was a sewing challenge earlier that had something to do with The Great Gatsby. This has nothing to do with that. I made this dress the same week that I read the Great Gatsby for the first time. I loved the book, and the cover of my copy matched my dress, so now they’re stuck together in my mind.
This dress was drafted off of a too short forever 21 dress, and was supposed to be really easy. I guess I can’t trace, though, because I had problem after problem with it. It’s all good now, though. Patience is a virtue and all that.
I blogged about the ordeal here
