Description

I sewed this high waisted miniskirt using thick, oxblood jersey. Perfect for Fall. It’s super easy to draft and sew, so I posted a tutorial on my blog mollytov.com

Disclaimer: I’m a pretty novice sewer, I just taught myself this summer. So I’m sure many of you will look at the tutorial and see better ways of doing things. If so, please let me know! I’d love to get some constructive criticism!

This is great. I’m going to try making it this weekend? I like the jersey mini skirt look with leggings, but panty lines are a problem. This is a great solution!

if this skirt doesn’t go up while walking, I’ll try to make one for myself! :) (great outfit, by the way)

Thanks Ivana! The skirt doesn’t seem to ride up when wearing it. The only thing that bothers me it is that sometimes the gathers tend to redistribute themselves above and below my butt, instead of resting evenly on top of it.
