Dress 102 from Burdastyle magazine 06/2011, shortened by 14cm, made of very slippery silky-textured shot rayon, cut on the bias. The fabric is a little sheer so I also made a self-drafted, very lightweight petticoat to wear under.
I have a review of this pattern here

Last weekend I made this same dress in a red linen from Spotlight and although not a very good quality linen, it is such a comfortable and cool dress to wear around the house. I am now making it in a piece of silk to wear to a party and I know it will be a favourite dress. I like your choice of fabric and it works so well in this style.
