Description
Yes, a wool cardigan in June, because English summers are fickle!! I absolutely love this pattern from the March Burda magazine, and it sewed up beautifully be be aware that THIS PATTERN RUNS VERY SMALL! I was warned by other reviewers so I added width to both of the side seams which was enough, or you could otherwise go up a size.
I have quite a few other tips and tricks for this pattern so please head over to Fehrtrade.com!
Material Notes
Italian brown merino wool jersey I bought off etsy (now sold out). It’s so thin and fine, but robust enough to not stretch all over the place, and takes a pressing really well. I used a mix of the sewing machine, overlocker/serger, and coverstitch here and the merino took to all of them beautifully.

It looks really great! I`ve made this one in a black stretchy lace( i review it also on patternreview) , but I love yours as it is easier to wear , i find. ( i love mine too as it is such a nice pattern :) It is good that you did read those reviews, I was just lucky enough to choose a very stretch fabric, the next one I will follow your tips. PS I love ( and read ) your blog. x

thanks so much! you were so lucky your fabric was stretchy enough! I normally assume Burda fits fine since it does 95% of the time so I’m glad I saw this on PR first. and thanks so much, I’m glad you like my site!

Very cute! I love the gathers on it. Too bad I don’t have that issue.
