For this dress I used beige jersey fabric with a very beautiful drape and shine. The pattern is model 123 from Burda 7/2009. I had initially a very unflattering result (maybe because I am small busted) as the bodice and the gathered skirt were joined together with a seam exactly across the bustline. So the dress left unworn in my closet for two years. Lately I added a lovely brown ribbon across the seam and under the bust to give a more flattering shape. Plus the ribbon added some interest and colour.
Trousers, blazers, and blouses in cool neutrals have model-off-duty style.
