Description

this week’s “oona does it!” at “the sew weekly” was requested by the fabulous creator of sew weekly, mena trott.

her challenge: take my cue from a beloved episode of “the cosby show”, and turn the infamous gordon gartrelle shirt into something wearable.

i had a hell of a time with this one! it went from yoga pants to hoochie length to this… see more about the episode and the creation of this striped monster here

Material Notes

stretch jersey with some metallic thread running through (obviously, it was not loud enough on its own).

    Incredibly adorable…and the assymetrical hem makes its beginner-friendly. With a little black cami for coverage underneath, it’s very cute and a great summer evening dinner outside kind of a dress.
