Pigskin suede. You will need 1 leather skin of approx. 9 sq. ft. (1 sq. ft. = 30 × 30 cm). Take the respective paper pattern pieces (that you draft) with you when purchasing the leather.
Batiste for the pockets, 150 cm (59 ins) wide: 0.65 m (7/8 yd).
Gabardine as lining, 145 cm (57 ins) wide: 0.40 m (1/2 yd).
Leather interfacing Vilene/Pellon LE 420 (or Vilene/Pellon G 785).
Vilene/Pellon Lamifix iron-on film (matte), 45 cm (18 ins) wide: 1.80 m (2 yds).
Striped tape, 2.5 cm (1 in) wide: 3.60 m (4 yds).
Webbing, 2.5 cm (1 in) wide: 1.90 m (21/8 yds).
Piece of braid, 50 cm (20 ins) long, 5 mm (3/16 in) wide.
4 wooden beads (Rayher), 10 mm (3/8 in).
Stranded embroidery floss.
