Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this dress for a wedding at a lovely barn near Huntington beach, CA. It’s a vintage simplicity pattern. You may recognize it as I have made it before( GreatWallOfChina frock) . My Purse was thrifted from Goodwill (Ninewest-$3) I added a little tie to match! Belt-Ny and co. Shoes-style and co. Headband-Ruche.com. I wore a petticoat for added volume.

Of all the rosey floral dresses I’ve seen in the last year, this is very close to being my favourite. I am so smitten with this boatneck-with-lower-back-neckline trend that’s popping up everywhere. It’s so flattering, and it makes the boatneck dress much less demure. It’s a fabulous match for this fabric as well, and the colours look wonderful on you.
