i made this from simplicity 2692. i was looking for a nice summer dress so i choose a loose weave cotton and underlined it in muslin for stability. once the pattern was adjusted to fit me, sewing it together was a breeze! see more info on my blog notesfromamadhousewife.blogspot.com

thanks so much!! i’ve really enjoyed wearing this dress and i’m super happy with the fit, glad it shows!
instead of lining the dress, i used facings at the neckline and armholes to get a good clean edge. i did add a lining on the midriff to cover the seams though!
